Why We’re Launching the E&N Story Fellowship

This month, Everything & Nothing turns two.

That feels worth marking ... not with balloons or big announcements, but with a pause, a look back, and a question about what feels most meaningful to do next.

When we started E&N, it was never about building something big quickly. It was about building something true. A way of working that made space for clarity, care, and the kind of storytelling that tends to last.

Two years on, what we’re most grateful for is the people we’ve met along the way. Musicians, creators, organisations and individuals building thoughtful work, often with their heads down, doing the thing itself, and struggling quietly with how to talk about it.

Not because they lack confidence, but because the work is still forming, because they’re too close to it and because, well, it matters. And when something matters, finding the right words can feel surprisingly hard.

Where Everything & Nothing Lives

Again and again, we’ve found ourselves working in the same space ... between making and meaning.

Helping people slow down, helping them see what’s already there, helping them shape a story that feels solid enough to stand on, and flexible enough to grow.

We’ve seen what changes when clarity arrives. Decisions get easier, communication feels less forced and the work starts to travel further, without losing its centre. That’s the work we love most. So, to mark our second year, we’re doing something that feels like a natural extension of it.

Introducing the E&N Story Fellowship

We’re offering one creative person or organisation a year of story-led support - not as a prize, but as a partnership.

The E&N Story Fellowship is our way of saying ... 'what if we went deeper instead of wider?' What if we took one piece of meaningful work and gave it time, attention, and care and let the story unfold properly? This isn’t about outsourcing marketing and it isn’t about quick wins or louder messages. It’s about working alongside someone over time, listening carefully, asking better questions and shaping a story that feels honest enough to carry the work forward.

Why a Fellowship?

Because not every story needs more exposure, some just need more care. We believe the strongest stories are built slowly, through conversation, reflection, and trust. Through noticing what’s essential, and being brave enough to let the rest fall away .... a fellowship gives us the chance to do this properly. To work deeply rather than widely, to learn alongside the person or organisation we’re supporting and to share that learning openly, through our Stories in Practice journal, as the year unfolds.

Who This Is For

The Fellowship is for a creative person, organisation, or small team working on something meaningful in music, culture, community, sustainability, or creative practice.

You don’t need a finished product or a polished brand. You don’t need to have all the answers. What matters is a willingness to reflect, to collaborate, and to grow and a sense that story might help you take the next step.

An Invitation

Launching the E&N Story Fellowship feels like a milestone for us. A way of practising what we believe and giving something back and a way of continuing to learn through real, lived work.
